Oozes

In Dungeons & Dragons, oozes are gelatinous creatures with no fixed shape. They’re mindless, amorphous blobs that often lurk in dark dungeons. Here are a few notable examples:

Gelatinous Cube: The most famous of all oozes, the gelatinous cube silently roams dungeon passageways, seeking its next meal. Transparent and hard to spot, it engulfs unsuspecting adventurers.
Gray Ooze: These creatures corrode metal on contact, melting weapons, armor, and ammunition. They’re indistinguishable from wet rocks or oily puddles and have resistance to fire, cold, and acid damage.
Oblex Spawn: Spawn of ooze created through mind flayer experimentation, oblex spawns deal psychic damage when consuming foes and feed on memories. They prefer humanoids of higher intelligence but are averse to fire.
Black Pudding and Ochre Jelly: Other examples include these deadly puddings. They lack fixed forms and can be used by Dungeon Masters as enemies for player characters.

So, watch out for these slippery, shape-shifting adversaries in your D&D adventures!
